While most women have just 50 percent to 60 percent of the upper body muscle mass of most men, they have, on average, about 80 percent to 90 percent of men’s lower-body strength. Due to this difference, the┬áMarine Corps will delay the implementation of a new standard that would have required women do as many pull-ups as men on their yearly fitness test, the Associated Press reports.
