Women’s Rugby — The women’s rugby team avenged their only regular season loss by claiming their second consecutive New England Small College Rugby Championship with a 47-12 victory over Tufts.
Men’s & Women’s Cross Country — The Bowdoin men placed fourth while the women took ninth at the 2013 New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship Saturday at Harkness State Park in Connecticut.
Women’s Soccer — Caitlin Brandman scored the game-winning goal with 21:14 to play in the second half as the Tufts women’s soccer team upset Bowdoin in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Tournament Saturday at Pickard Field.
Football — The Bates College football team rushed for 240 yards in a 17-10 win over Bowdoin Saturday at Garcelon Field.
Field Hockey — Katie Riley tied the NESCAC Tournament record with four goals as the field hockey team overwhelmed Trinity 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament Saturday at Ryan Field.
Women’s Volleyball — The women’s volleyball team rounded out its regular season with a convincing 3-0 win over Hamilton Saturday afternoon.
