no facebookTurns out you may not need a strong social media presence to skyrocket your career. Warren Buffett has only tweeted twice — and he still has 542,000 followers. Though it may seem intuitive to capitalize on the pervasiveness and instantaneous nature of social media to build a career, new data shows the nation’s top CEOs work a little differently. What it boils down to: less Facebook and Twitter, more LinkedIn. LinkedIn is more popular among CEOs than it is among the general population.
