Bowdoin Sophomore Brings the Power of Social Media to Nepalese Street Children (Republica)

This summer, Apekshya Prasai ’16 worked with a group of children who live in the streets of Kathmandu. She trained them to use social media, theater and art to speak up for child rights. Her work, funded by a Davis Projects for Peace grant, was noticed by Republica, a daily newspaper in Nepal.
