The Photomag features Detroit-born photographer Mark Laita’s series “Created Equal,” which juxtaposes portraits of people occupying high and low socioeconomic positions in the United States.┬áThe project, which took Laita nearly eight years to complete, also compares people from different subcultures, such as a bank robber and a policeman, and Amish teens and punk teens.
