Men’s Ice Hockey: The Bowdoin men’s ice hockey team scored an early goal in each period to cruise to a 6-1 victory over Tufts Friday night in Watson Arena. The Polar Bears—ranked fourth in the nation in the latest USCHO.com Division III Men’s Poll—improve to 18-2-2 (12-2-2 NESCAC) while Tufts falls to 7-14-2 (2-13-2 NESCAC).

Nordic Skiing: Bowdoin stands in 11th place after day one of competition at the Middlebury Carnival in Vermont. Complete in-progress results are available here.

Women’s Squash: The Bowdoin College women’s squash team cruised to an 8-1 win over rival Colby in the opening round of the Walker Cup Division at the CSA National Championship Friday at Yale University.

Women’s Swimming and Diving: The Amherst College women’s swimming and diving team raked in six first-place finishes to highlight day one of the 2013 NESCAC Championship at Bowdoin’s Greason Pool.
