Alaska Challenges Polar Bears (Huffington Post)

Attorneys for the state of Alaska and additional plaintiffs, including hunters and the California Cattlemen’s Association, have challenged the polar bears’ designation as a threatened species in a U.S. appeals court, arguing that the government has not adequately proven how the bears will likely near extinction in the next century.
