More than 80 Bowdoin students participated in the College’s third annual Mock Interview Day last week, organized by Career Planning. Volunteer professionals, including Bowdoin alumni and staff, staged 20-minute interviews with each student, followed by a critique.
The event is designed to give students, particularly seniors, a chance to practice interviewing as they prepare for their job search. The volunteer interviewers work in a broad range of fields, from nonprofits and education to publishing and consulting. Students are matched up with interviewers based on the field they want to enter.
