Volleyball — The Bowdoin College women’s volleyball team swept Roger Williams and Newbury on Saturday to finish play at the 2012 MIT Invitaitonal.
Women’s Rugby — The Bowdoin College women’s rugby team overwhelmed Bates in a 69-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Men’s Soccer — Bowdoin sophomore Andrew Gray came off the bench to score the game-winning goal with 10:01 remaining as the Polar Bear men’s soccer team earned a 1-0 road win at Middlebury on Saturday afternoon.
Women’s Soccer — In a battle of unbeaten squads, the ninth-ranked Middlebury women’s soccer team remained perfect with a 1-0 victory over Bowdoin on Dragone Field Saturday.
Football — The Bowdoin College football team couldn’t recover from an early deficit and dropped its season-opener to Middlebury on Saturday, 42-18.
Field Hockey — The Middlebury College field hockey team scored a pair of first-half goals and held off Bowdoin for an eventual 2-1 win in a battle between nationally-ranked squads on Saturday afternoon at Kohn Field.
Men’s Golf — The Bowdoin College men’s golf team competed in a pair of tournaments this weekend.
