Nearly two dozen historic schooners will set sail from Rockland this morning in a friendly race to Camden as part of The Maine Windjammer Association’s 36th annual Great Schooner Race, harkening back to the glory days of sail on the Maine coast when ships would race to harbor to secure the best prices for their cargo.
