A tandem bicycle at the entrance to The Country Inn, festooned with Bowdoin banner and flowers, welcomes alumni to Reunion Weekend.
The weekend editions of the Bowdoin Daily Sun, with their stories of student life and Polar Bear Scoreboards, are, like the students themselves, going on summer hiatus, returning in early fall with the start of the 2012-2013 academic year. Until then, we hope you continue to enjoy the BDS Monday through Friday, as we bring you happenings from campus, Brunswick and the world around us.

Well done, editors and staff, as you close some of your books at the end of the college year! The BDS has provided me much delightful info about the College and the Town on a daily basis (my first click on the computer daily is to what’s going on down the street from my retirement community). And for free! ALAN N. HALL
I enjoy the four topic format of the BDS and frequently forward a number of interesting articles on to my son (Class of ’07) who graduated in 2007. He now lives in Raleigh, NC but his father and I now live in Harpswell. Thanks to the BDS, I am able to stay somewhat better connected to Bowdoin than our son. Thank you and enjoy the summer.
