Video: Students and Community Members Talk about Bias

In late January, Bowdoin College students and local community members came together to talk about prejudice and the impact it has on individuals and a community. This video offers a snapshot of the facilitation training for the event, as well as the actual discussion.

The “Community Conversation about Prejudice” was led by human- and civil-rights activist Steve Wessler as part of the student-organized program, “Beyond the Bowdoin Hello,” a week-long series of lectures, films and activities that gave students, staff, faculty and locals a chance to delve more deeply into matters around race, identity and bias.
