Having been awarded the Percent for Art project by the Maine Arts Commission in 2010, Mark Wethli, Bowdoin’s A. LeRoy Greason Professor of Art, created Civitas, a low-relief sculpture for the University of  Southern Maine’s Wishcamper Center in Portland.

Helping complete the project comprising more than 300 pieces of wood was an all-Bowdoin crew that included Adrian Bossi ’85, Evan Farley ’11, Sam Gilbert ’10 and Haley MacKeil ’10.
