Women’s Basketball Now 7-2 After Convincing Win in California

The Bowdoin College women’s basketball team never trailed after the opening moments of a 90-66 victory over Rivier College in opening day action Friday at the Posada Royale Holiday Classic in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The Polar Bears will face host Cal-Lutheran Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (eastern time). Fans can follow the action online, direct from southern California.

Women’s Basketball Resumes Play Today

Women’s basketball closes out 2011 with a pair of contests at the Posada Royale Holiday Classic just outside of Los Angeles. The 6-2 Polar Bears face New Hampshire’s Rivier College today at 3:00 (eastern time), and will take on another opponent at 7:00 p.m. (eastern time) on New Year’s Eve.
