Museum’s Chinese Bronzes Offer ‘Thrilling Time’ (Portland Press Herald)

The Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s newest exhibition, Along the Yangzi River: Regional Culture of the Bronze Age from the Hunan, is reviewed in the Portland Press Herald.

The exhibition features 60 bronze vessels and monumental bells from the middle banks of the Yangzi River in southern China, cast between 1300 B.C.E. and 221 B.C.E.
