‘Don’t Miss’ Museum’s Hopper Exhibition (Elle Décor)

Elle Décor magazine puts the Bowdoin College Museum of Art exhibition, Edward Hopper’s Maine, in its “Don’t Miss” section in the July-August 2011 issue.

“The raw beauty of coastal Maine has long been a lure for summer visitors, including some of America’s finest artists,” reads the article, touting Hopper’s “poetic renderings of the rocky seaside” and “iconic views of lighthouses and fishing trawlers.”
