‘More Than a Rap Sheet: The Real Stories of Incarcerated Women’ Exhibition in Smith Union

The month-long photography/poetry exhibition, More Than a Rap Sheet: The Real Stories of Incarcerated Women, opened May 5, 2011, with a reception on the third floor of Smith Union.

The project, overseen by Family Crisis Services and brought to campus by the Women’s Resource Center, features photographs of women incarcerated in Maine accompanied by poetry written by the women themselves, as well as by Bowdoin students. The exhibition runs through May 30.
