This was not typical of my class as we were called by Time Magazine, "the quiet generation". I am a lover and publisher of Maine history and I was always proud of the way the fraternity I led was the one who challenged National Fraternities, and therefore we pledged the fine black friend of mine--Theophilus McKinney who went on to world fame.
